Make It Right

This book was to help me with sin for that was my problem when the Lord said, "Here is a book to help you with your problem". It is sin, which is in many ways the ultimate enemy of God and mankind. The reason God sent his one and only son to the world was so that he could die for our sins. We go to hell because of sin. If people will repent of their sins and allow God to cleanse them of their sins through the blood of Jesus, they will never see eternal death. The devil knows that all those outside of Christ Jesus stand condemned because they have sinned. However, he also knows that even those in Christ Jesus can be taken back into the kingdom of darkness if they turn back from following Christ. One of his methods of turning believers back is to get them entangled in the sinful things of the world again. Once entangled, their faith becomes meaningless although they in fact maintain their profession of faith in Christ, which is no longer alive but dead. They have now become dead Christians. Then, they take this compromised and defiled form of Christianity to all the Christians around them through both word and deed. Thus, the devil’s plan to neutralise the effectiveness of the church by filling it with dead souls is realised.

As in the days of Noah, a time is coming when judgement will come prematurely on a generation. This prophesied final generation will be a wicked generation that professes a form of godliness. The deception on this generation will be almost unbelievable. Before this time of great darkness, Jesus will help his bride to come to her senses and stop sinning.

It is a great deception to think that you can be a saint and a sinner at the same time. You cannot. At any one time, you are either a saint or a sinner. If you are a saint, heaven belongs to you. If you are a sinner, hells awaits your coming. It is possible to move back and forth between being a saint and a sinner. This involves moving back and forth in the area of intentional sin. There is sin that is intentional and sin that is unintentional. I am not talking about unintentional sin but intentional sin. Judgement as a saint or sinner is determined at death. However, the degrees of reward or punishment at death are determined by the person’s entire life. Ultimately, righteousness is always determined by a simple faith in the blood of Jesus to cleanse from all sin.

I implore you with my whole heart to make a decision for God. Decide to do what is in your power to deal with sin in your life. While it is true that you could and probably will sin again intentionally, simply worry about winning your ‘todays’. You really can’t change the things of the past, and there are no guarantees for your future in this life. What you can do though is deal with now. Make your life right with God now. If you want to make your life right with God now, pray the following:

"Holy Father, thank you for providing me with a saviour through your son, Jesus Christ. I need a saviour, and I ask you, Jesus to be my saviour. God, your word, the Bible says that I have sinned in so many ways and at so many times. This is true, and I ask you to cleanse me through the blood of your son from my many sins. I commit myself today to living to the standard of your word. I repent of all things in my life that are wrong. With people that I have wronged, I will put the things right after seeking your wisdom first on the issue. I choose today to remove from my house all things that are sinful and in direct defiance of your word. Thank you God that I am now clean and whole and a child of God. My name is written in heaven as one of its citizens. I choose now to live right. If I do wrong, I choose to repent and be cleansed again by the blood of Jesus time after time if I have to".

There really is no alternative to following God. Hell is very real, and the torment of eternal death is very real. Have you ever been violently ill? Did you reminisce over the wonderful times in your life, or were you totally consumed with pain or vomiting or whatever it was? There is no rest or comfort in eternal death. Every moment is a moment of suffering. Some sins are very hard to shake and a high level of motivation is needed. I cannot possibly imagine anything to be more compelling for you to finally say no to your sin than suffering forever and ever. The other thing about hell is that once you’re in, there is never a way out. There is never a second chance. Judgement is set. You only have one opportunity to avoid it. Certainly, you could get ‘saved’ tomorrow and still go to heaven forever and ever. However, you need to realise that faith is a gift from God, which he offers through his Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is on you right now so that you can get saved. Once he moves on so will your heart. You need his grace to get saved and that grace is upon you now.

Do you think you will be throwing your life away to follow Jesus? You do not know what life truly is until you have drunk the water that only Jesus can give you. Do you have a need? Jesus is the provider. Jesus will lift you off the dust heap and truly make you a prince or princess among mankind. Your life can be so much deeper and richer through truly knowing God. Even though there may be a time when you are called upon to lay down your life for Jesus, the Holy Spirit will give you the grace to do it joyfully before going on to your incredibly great eternal reward. Join me today as a child of God.
